Float Staff Nurse (no weekends/no holidays)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Float Staff Nurse to join our team at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. As a staff nurse, you will be responsible for delivering expert nursing care to our patients and their families. This role involves assessing patient needs, implementing care plans, administering medications, and providing educational support. The ideal candidate will have clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to collaborative practice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based nursing care to patients and families.
• Assess patient needs and develop care plans with measurable outcomes.
• Document care accurately and administer medications safely.
• Educate patients and families on treatment modalities and provide emotional support.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts or New Hampshire.
• Baccalaureate degree in nursing preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience.
• Experience in ambulatory or oncology settings is a plus.
• Professional nursing certification such as OCN or BMTCN preferred.
