Full-Time Assistant Store Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Assistant Store Manager to join the team at Aldi. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing store operations, supervising staff, and ensuring overall performance meets company standards. Your responsibilities will include developing action plans, training team members, maintaining inventory, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing action plans for operational improvement
• Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members
• Identify training opportunities to enhance team performance
• Monitor the competitive environment and recommend adjustments
• Participate in the interviewing process for new hires
• Maintain store cleanliness, proper stock levels, and merchandise displays
• Supervise day-to-day operations and escalate issues as needed
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Requirements

• 21 years of age or older
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Prior retail experience and management skills
• Operational knowledge of equipment and inventory management
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Minimum 3 years of retail experience
• Previous management experience preferred
