Job Description

Join our team as a Full-Time Assistant Store Manager at Aldi, where you will be responsible for assisting with supervising day-to-day store activities, ensuring overall store performance, managing schedules, and developing operational action plans. You will play a key role in identifying training opportunities to develop and grow the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement action plans to enhance operating results.
  • Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
  • Identify training opportunities to improve team performance.
  • Monitor the competitive environment and suggest adjustments to maintain competitiveness.
  • Participate in the interviewing process for store personnel.
  • Ensure adherence to inventory procedures and cash control policies.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and proper stock levels.
  • Supervise day-to-day operations, ensuring the highest level of customer service.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures while ensuring data security.

Job Qualifications

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
  • Experience interpreting and applying company policies.
  • Ability to operate a cash register and equipment.
  • Organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Previous management experience preferred.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Minimum 3 years of retail experience required, with prior management experience preferred.
