Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Assistant Store Manager to join the team at Aldi. In this role, you will assist with supervising day-to-day store activities, drive operational excellence, manage schedules, and identify training opportunities to support the team's growth. Your contributions will be crucial to ensuring overall store performance and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and implementing action plans to enhance operational results.
  • Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to foster a cohesive team environment.
  • Identify training opportunities to improve team performance.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape and recommend adjustments to maintain the store's competitive edge.
  • Ensure adherence to inventory procedures, product handling guidelines, and cash control policies.
  • Maintain store cleanliness, proper stock levels, and attractive product displays.
  • Supervise daily operations, escalate issues when necessary, and ensure exceptional customer service.

Requirements

  • At least 18 years old.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide outstanding customer service.
  • Previous retail experience, with management experience preferred.
