Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Aldi. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a crucial role in assisting with managing day-to-day store activities, ensuring overall store performance, developing operational action plans, and identifying training opportunities to foster team growth. The position offers a starting wage of $23.50 per hour for an average of 38 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement action plans to improve store performance.
• Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
• Identify training opportunities to enhance team performance.
• Monitor the competitive environment and provide feedback for product selection.
• Ensure inventory procedures, product handling guidelines, and cash control policies are followed.
• Maintain store cleanliness, proper stock levels, and merchandising standards.
• Supervise day-to-day operations, addressing issues and providing exceptional customer service.
• Comply with company policies and procedures while upholding security and confidentiality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and management abilities.
• Proficiency in interpreting and applying company policies.
• Experience in budgeting, personnel costs, and expense management.
• Operational knowledge of equipment and cash register functions.
• High level of organizational and multitasking capabilities.
• Compliance with state and local regulations for selling alcoholic beverages.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of retail experience.
• Prior management experience is an advantage.
