Job Description
Join our team at Aldi as a Full-Time Assistant Store Manager. In this role, you will assist with supervising day-to-day store activities, enhance overall store performance, manage schedules, and develop operational action plans. You will play a crucial part in identifying training opportunities to foster team growth and success.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement action plans to improve store operations.
- Establish job responsibilities and performance expectations for team members.
- Identify training opportunities for team development.
- Communicate company strategy and values to create a sense of teamwork.
- Monitor the competitive environment and suggest adjustments to maintain competitiveness.
- Provide feedback on products and participate in the store personnel interviewing process.
- Ensure inventory procedures, product handling guidelines, and cash control policies are followed.
- Maintain store cleanliness, proper stock levels, and product merchandising.
- Assist in achieving store payroll budget and training new employees.
- Supervise team operations and escalate issues when necessary.
- Ensure high levels of customer service and compliance with company policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Experience in retail management preferred.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years retail experience.
- Prior management experience preferred.
