Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will assist with supervising day-to-day store activities, managing schedules, and developing action plans to enhance store performance. Your responsibilities will include identifying training opportunities to support the growth of your team and ensuring a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement action plans to improve store operating results.
  • Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
  • Identify training opportunities to enhance team performance.
  • Monitor the competitive environment and recommend adjustments to maintain the store's position.
  • Participate in the store personnel interviewing process.
  • Ensure adherence to inventory procedures, product handling guidelines, and cash control policies.
  • Maintain store cleanliness standards and appropriate stock levels.
  • Supervise day-to-day team operations and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures while upholding security and confidentiality standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of retail experience.
  • Prior management experience preferred.
