Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in keeping the store organized, stocked, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include cashiering, merchandising, cleaning, and providing exceptional customer service.
Position Details
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Assist customers and collaborate effectively with team members and management.
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash handling policies.
- Follow company policies, ensure document security, and uphold confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years
- Proficient in customer service and operating a cash register.
- Able to handle equipment and perform cleaning tasks according to standards.
- Excellent communication skills, detail-oriented, and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Meet requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages as per state and local regulations.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is advantageous.
- A blend of education and work background with equivalent knowledge.
