Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring the store is well-organized, stocked, and maintained while providing exceptional customer service. This position offers an opportunity to work collaboratively with the ALDI team to enhance the shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and neatly arrange merchandise displays.
- Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any operational issues.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies to minimize discrepancies.
- Follow company policies with a focus on document security and confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness following company standards.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail, organization, and ability to multitask.
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience is a plus.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
