Full-Time Store Associate (32-40 hours per week)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, stocking merchandise, cashiering, and maintaining the overall appearance of the store. This position offers an opportunity to work collaboratively with a dynamic team and enhance the shopping experience for our valued customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide top-notch customer service and assist shoppers during their visit
• Collaborate with team members, communicate effectively with management, and offer feedback on store operations
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies, uphold company procedures, and maintain document security
• Perform other assigned duties as needed

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment
• Capable of performing general cleaning tasks to company standards
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or within a team
• Compliance with state and local alcohol handling requirements

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
• A mix of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
