Full-Time Store Associate (32-40 hours per week)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the store maintains a welcoming environment for customers by handling stocking, cashiering, and cleaning duties. You will work collaboratively with the Aldi team to deliver exceptional customer service and contribute to a positive shopping experience.

Starting Wage

$16.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) as outlined for the role.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping needs.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
• Report product issues, inventory discrepancies, and scanning errors to management.
• Participate in inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures to minimize losses.
• Comply with company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Capable of performing general cleaning tasks to company standards.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to follow instructions.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience preferred.
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
