Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, merchandising products, operating the cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
- Engage in customer service, cashiering, stocking shelves, and maintaining displays.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
- Follow company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as required.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Capability to interpret and apply company guidelines.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.
- Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- A combination of education and experience is acceptable.
