Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring the store's cleanliness. Your focus will be on delivering exceptional customer service, collaborating with team members, and maintaining a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Position Details
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in inventory counts
- Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses
- Follow company policies and uphold data security and confidentiality
- Perform other assigned duties as required
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Prompt and courteous customer service skills
- Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Work both independently and in a team environment
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
