Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in maintaining our store's appearance, providing exceptional customer service, and collaborating with your team to ensure a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills in your daily tasks.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and any operational issues.
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses.
- Follow company policies and procedures to maintain security and confidentiality.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to offer prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register.
- Safe and proper use of equipment.
- Knowledge of cleaning standards and company policies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Capability to work independently and within a team.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
- Compliance with state and local regulations for selling alcoholic beverages.
Educational and Work Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail experience is a plus.
- A combination of education and experience will be considered.
