Full-Time Store Associate (32-40 hours per week)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in maintaining the store's appearance, assisting customers, and working collaboratively with the ALDI team. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, cashiering, and ensuring exceptional customer service to enhance the shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and issues to management
• Participate in store inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies, procedures, and company guidelines
• Follow company policies to ensure document and data security
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient and accurate operation of cash register
• Safely operate equipment like electric/manual hand jacks
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures
• Excellent communication skills
• Work both independently and in a team environment
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multitask efficiently
• Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior work experience in a retail environment is a plus
• Equivalent knowledge from a combination of education and experience
