Job Description
As a Full-Time Store Associate at Aldi, you will play a key role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment. By delivering exceptional customer service and collaborating with the Aldi team, you will contribute to an outstanding shopping experience for customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping needs.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management.
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to management.
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses and uphold company procedures.
- Follow company policies, maintain document security, and ensure confidentiality.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
- Perform general cleaning duties to company standards.
- Interpret and apply company policies and procedures effectively.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask professionally.
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol handling and sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is advantageous.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience is considered.
