Job Description
As a Full-Time Store Associate at ALDI, you will play a vital role in ensuring the store's success by merchandising products, handling cashier duties, and maintaining a clean environment to provide customers with a top-notch shopping experience. Working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will uphold exceptional customer service standards.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Assist customers, communicate effectively with team members and management
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure adherence to cash policies
- Follow company policies, uphold security, and confidentiality measures
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Proficient in customer service and cash register operations
- Ability to operate equipment and perform cleaning duties
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Capacity to work independently and in a team environment
- Prior retail experience preferred
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail work experience is a plus
- Combination of education and experience considered
