Full-Time Store Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring the store maintains a clean and welcoming environment for our customers. By collaborating with the ALDI team, you will contribute to enhancing the overall shopping experience and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.50 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
• Communicate effectively with team members and management
• Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts
• Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses
• Follow company policies and procedures while ensuring data security
• Perform other assigned duties as needed

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Operate a cash register efficiently
• Safely operate equipment and perform general cleaning tasks
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
• Stay organized, attentive to detail, and follow instructions
• Meet state and local requirements for selling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
