Full Time Store Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a Full Time Store Associate to join our ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in enhancing the customer shopping experience through exceptional customer service and collaborative work. You will be responsible for merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure it looks its best at all times.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills for the role.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts.
• Adhere to cash policies, company procedures, and maintain document security and confidentiality.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
• Work independently or within a team environment.
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multitask effectively.
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales (if applicable).

Educational and Experience Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience is a plus.
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
