Full Time Store Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks, including merchandising, cashiering, stocking, and ensuring the store maintains a clean and welcoming environment for our customers. By working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will contribute to enhancing the overall shopping experience and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) as outlined for the role.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Assist customers with shopping needs and provide top-notch customer service.
• Collaborate with team members and effectively communicate with store management.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts.
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize financial discrepancies.
• Follow company policies while maintaining security and confidentiality standards.
• Perform other assigned duties as necessary.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient and accurate operation of a cash register.
• Proficiency in operating equipment such as hand jacks, floor scrubbers, etc.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or within a team.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask efficiently.
• Meet all state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience is advantageous.
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
