Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team. As a Store Associate at ALDI, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. This position offers a starting wage of $16.00 per hour and an opportunity to work collaboratively with a dynamic team in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their store visit.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and customer service to improve operations.
• Follow cash handling policies to ensure minimal losses and comply with company procedures.
• Perform store inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to all company policies with a focus on security and confidentiality.
• Execute other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of cash registers and store equipment.
• Capable of maintaining store cleanliness and following company policies.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Meet state and local regulations for selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in retail settings is a plus.
