Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the store is well-maintained and stocked. You will collaborate with team members, process customer purchases, and contribute to a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate professionalism and follow ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Provide excellent customer service and assist customers with their shopping needs.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Assist in inventory management and ensure accuracy.
- Follow cash handling policies and company procedures.
- Adhere to company policies, maintain security, and uphold confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment.
- Capable of performing general cleaning tasks and following company standards.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask efficiently.
- Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail experience is a plus.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
