Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join Aldi's team. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the store is well-organized, stocked, and provides excellent customer service. Your responsibilities will include cashiering, merchandising, and maintaining a clean and inviting store environment.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Salary: $16.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Deliver exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
• Follow all company policies while maintaining document security and data confidentiality
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register
• Safely operate equipment and perform general cleaning duties
• Interpret and apply company policies and procedures
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Work independently and in a team environment
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multitask effectively
• Meet all state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior work experience in retail preferred
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
