Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store is well-organized, merchandise is stocked, and customers receive outstanding service. You'll collaborate with team members, handle transactions, and contribute to maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) required for the role.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Communicate effectively with team members and report any issues to management.
- Participate in inventory counts and follow cash handling policies.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures to uphold security and confidentiality.
- Perform physical tasks such as stocking merchandise and general cleaning duties.
Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years for employment at ALDI.
- Proficiency in operating a cash register accurately and efficiently.
- Ability to handle equipment and perform cleaning duties following company standards.
- Excellent communication skills and the capacity to work independently or in a team setting.
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in a retail environment is an advantage.
