Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the store is well-organized, merchandise is stocked, and customers receive excellent service. Your responsibilities will include cashiering, cleaning, and collaborating with the team to maintain a positive shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's core competencies and professionalism in the role.
- Perform cashier duties, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Report product and inventory issues to management.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses.
- Follow company policies and maintain confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Physical Demands
- Stock and place products up to 45 pounds on shelves.
- Engage in various physical activities within the store.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Proficient in customer service and cash register operation.
- Ability to operate equipment and perform cleaning tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
- Meet state requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
