Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in maintaining the store's appearance, assisting customers, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Your responsibilities will include cashiering, stocking merchandise, providing exceptional customer service, and collaborating with team members and management.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's values and professional skills in daily tasks.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Assist customers with their shopping experience and address inquiries.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
- Follow company policies while maintaining security and confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum age of 18 years required.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
- Conduct general cleaning tasks to company standards.
- Interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Work well independently and within a team environment.
- Stay organized, detail-oriented, and follow instructions efficiently.
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience is advantageous.
- Combination of education and experience considered.
