Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure a positive shopping experience for our customers. Collaborating with the ALDI team, you will deliver exceptional customer service and contribute to the store's overall success.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain clean store environment, and neatly stock shelves
- Assist customers with their shopping needs and provide exceptional service
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
- Follow cash handling policies and company procedures
- Adhere to company policies while maintaining data security and confidentiality
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
- Proficient in cash register operations
- Skilled in operating store equipment
- Capable of meeting physical demands of the job
- Excellent communication skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail work experience preferred
