Full-Time Store Associate ( $16.00 per hour)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the overall appearance of the store to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. You will collaborate with the Aldi team to deliver outstanding customer service and contribute to the store's success.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to improve store performance.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash policies, minimize losses, and comply with company procedures.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Knowledge of company policies and procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior work experience in a retail environment is a plus.
