Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring our store is well-maintained and that customers receive top-notch service. You will be responsible for cashiering, stocking shelves, and providing assistance to customers, contributing to a positive shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) in daily tasks.
- Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by helping customers with their shopping needs.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management.
- Conduct inventory counts, monitor inventory accuracy, and report any issues to management.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and follow company procedures.
- Comply with company policies, uphold document security, and maintain confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Capability to perform general cleaning tasks and follow company standards.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Capacity to work independently, follow instructions, and multitask efficiently.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- Equivalent knowledge gained from a combination of education and experience.
