Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising and stocking products, executing cashier duties, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. You will collaborate with the ALDI team and uphold our commitment to outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills required for the role.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers throughout their shopping journey.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Contribute to store inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies and uphold company procedures.
- Follow company policies while safeguarding document security and confidentiality.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient and accurate cash register operation.
- Ability to operate equipment and perform cleaning tasks to company standards.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Capacity to work independently and in a team setting.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.
- Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is advantageous.
- A combination of education and related experience will be considered.
