Full-Time Store Associate ( $16.00 per hour)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the day-to-day operations of the store, from stocking products to providing exceptional customer service. As a Store Associate, you will collaborate with the Aldi team and enhance the overall shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
• Work closely with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory accuracy, and any other store-related issues.
• Participate in store inventory counts and adhere to cash handling policies.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while safeguarding confidential information.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
• Capable of operating a cash register accurately and efficiently.
• Able to handle equipment like electric/manual hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
• Skilled in interpreting and implementing company policies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail experience is a plus.
• Combination of education and experience will be considered.
