Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring our store looks its best, providing exceptional customer service, and working collaboratively with the team.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) as outlined for the role.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management.
- Participate in store inventory counts and maintain accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.
- Follow company policies ensuring security and confidentiality.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
- Perform general cleaning duties to company standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and in a team.
- Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multitask efficiently.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
- Prior retail experience is preferred.
