Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the store's success by merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our customers. Your focus will be on enhancing the shopping experience, providing exceptional customer service, and collaborating with the Aldi team.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) as outlined for the role.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service, guiding customers throughout their shopping experience.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Follow cash handling policies and procedures meticulously.
• Adhere to company policies, ensuring security and confidentiality.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Capable of providing prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficiently operate a cash register.
• Operate equipment such as hand jacks, floor scrubbers, and balers.
• Maintain cleanliness to company standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrate organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience preferred.
• Combination of education and experience desired.
