Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for various tasks such as merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure a pleasant shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and maintain professionalism while performing duties.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Collaborate with team members and effectively communicate with store management.
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to management.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Follow cash handling policies to minimize losses and adhere to company procedures.
- Comply with all company policies while ensuring document and data security.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to provide courteous customer service and operate a cash register.
- Capable of safely using equipment and performing cleaning duties according to standards.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask effectively.
- Meet all state and local requirements for handling/selling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- Any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the required knowledge.
