Job Description

Join ALDI as a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) and play a crucial role in enhancing the customer shopping experience. As a Store Associate, you will merchandise and stock products, cashier, and maintain the store's cleanliness, ensuring it looks its best at all times.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management
• Give feedback to management on product quality, inventory, and related issues
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses
• Follow company policies while upholding document security and confidentiality

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service
• Skilled in operating a cash register and store equipment
• Capable of performing general cleaning tasks effectively
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous retail experience is a plus
