Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring that our store operates smoothly and provides exceptional customer service. This position involves merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store to offer customers the best shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and other store-related issues
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
- Adhere to cash policies and uphold company procedures
- Follow company policies, maintain document security, and confidentiality
- Execute other assigned duties as needed
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Capable of delivering prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register
- Safe and proper use of equipment
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Capacity to work independently and in a team environment
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to follow instructions
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcohol
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
- Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
