Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. You will be responsible for cashiering, stocking shelves, providing outstanding customer service, and maintaining the overall appearance of the store.
Position Type: Full-Time
Hours: 32-40 hours per week
Starting Wage: $16.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Deliver exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
• Communicate effectively with team members and management
• Provide feedback on products and inventory
• Participate in store inventory counts and uphold cash policies
• Adhere to company policies and procedures
• Perform other assigned duties

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to offer prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment
• Capability to follow cleaning standards and company guidelines
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
• Organization skills with attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Meet state requirements for alcohol sales, if applicable

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail work experience is a plus
