Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. Your focus on exceptional customer service and teamwork will contribute to an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Provide top-notch customer service and assist shoppers during their visit
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management
- Give feedback on products, inventory, and report any issues
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
- Follow cash handling policies to prevent losses
- Adhere to company policies, prioritize security, and maintain confidentiality
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Proficient in operating a cash register
- Skilled in safely using equipment like hand jacks and floor scrubbers
- Ability to meet standards for cleaning and organization
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Capable of working independently or within a team
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multi-task efficiently
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
