Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store maintains high standards of merchandising, customer service, and cleanliness. You will collaborate with team members, provide exceptional customer assistance, and contribute to a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
• Perform cashiering, stocking, and general cleaning duties.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping needs.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
• Participate in inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.
• Comply with company policies and procedures while maintaining document and data security.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to offer prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register with accuracy.
• Safely operate equipment and perform general cleaning duties.
• Interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Work independently and as part of a team efficiently.
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior work experience in a retail environment is advantageous.
