Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by merchandising products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. You will collaborate with the Aldi team, deliver exceptional customer service, and contribute to the overall success of the store.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, Aldi Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandising displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
• Communicate effectively with the team and store management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to improve operations.
• Participate in inventory management according to guidelines.
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures for loss prevention.
• Follow company policies while maintaining document security.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide courteous customer service.
• Efficient cash register operation skills.
• Aptitude for using equipment like hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
• Capability to maintain cleanliness to company standards.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Capacity to work both independently and in a team setting.
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail experience is a plus.
• A combination of education and experience demonstrating equivalent knowledge.
