Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Full-Time Store Manager Trainee to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Manager Trainee, you will undergo comprehensive training to learn all aspects of successfully managing a store. Your responsibilities will include supervising daily store operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing schedules, hiring, and developing staff members.
Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day store activities to provide excellent customer service.
- Understand and communicate the company strategy and values to foster teamwork among employees.
- Manage staffing levels and schedules efficiently.
- Handle customer inquiries and ensure quick resolution of concerns.
- Maintain store appearance, product quality, and proper signage.
- Participate in the hiring process and conduct employee performance evaluations.
- Manage store payroll, budgets, and inventory according to company guidelines.
- Create a safe working environment for employees, customers, and vendors.
- Travel to various locations for training purposes.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills.
- Prior retail experience and management skills preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Flexibility to travel within divisional requirements.
