Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Full-Time Store Manager Trainee to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Manager Trainee, you will undergo comprehensive training to learn all aspects of successfully managing a store. Your responsibilities will include supervising daily store operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing schedules, hiring, and developing staff members.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise day-to-day store activities to provide excellent customer service.
  • Understand and communicate the company strategy and values to foster teamwork among employees.
  • Manage staffing levels and schedules efficiently.
  • Handle customer inquiries and ensure quick resolution of concerns.
  • Maintain store appearance, product quality, and proper signage.
  • Participate in the hiring process and conduct employee performance evaluations.
  • Manage store payroll, budgets, and inventory according to company guidelines.
  • Create a safe working environment for employees, customers, and vendors.
  • Travel to various locations for training purposes.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills.
  • Prior retail experience and management skills preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Flexibility to travel within divisional requirements.
