Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Manager Trainee to join Aldi's team. As a Store Manager Trainee, you will undergo comprehensive training on all aspects of store management to prepare you for eventually leading your own store. You will supervise daily store operations, ensure exceptional customer service, manage staffing needs, and implement operational strategies while mentoring and developing your team.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily store operations to deliver excellent customer service.
- Understand and communicate the company's values and strategy to promote teamwork.
- Manage customer concerns and ensure resolutions are met.
- Maintain store signage and product quality standards.
- Participate in hiring and training store personnel.
- Create schedules, establish job expectations, and conduct performance evaluations.
- Monitor budget goals, maintain inventory levels, and ensure a safe store environment.
Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years old, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent customer service skills and the capacity to lead and develop a team effectively.
- Strong understanding of company policies and procedures.
- Prior management experience and operational knowledge preferred.
- Flexibility to travel to multiple locations for training purposes.
Education and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 3 years of progressive retail experience.
- Combination of education and experience equivalent.
- Prior management experience is a plus.
