Full-Time Store Manager Trainee

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Manager Trainee to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Manager Trainee, you will undergo comprehensive training in all aspects of store management to prepare for a leadership role in the future. Your responsibilities will include supervising daily store operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing staffing requirements, overseeing schedules, and creating operational strategies while nurturing and developing the store team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise team performance to deliver outstanding customer service.
• Implement company strategies and values to foster teamwork among staff.
• Handle customer issues promptly and effectively.
• Maintain store signage and product quality.
• Participate in the hiring process and manage staff schedules.
• Provide clear job expectations to team members and conduct performance evaluations.
• Ensure budget compliance and manage store inventory.
• Monitor the local market and make recommendations to stay competitive.
• Ensure a safe working environment for all.

Requirements

• 18 years or older.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Familiarity with retail policies and procedures.
• Experience in supervising and motivating teams.
• Proficiency in cash register operations and equipment handling.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Compliance with local regulations for alcohol sales.
• High school diploma preferred.
• Minimum 3 years retail experience, management experience preferred.
