Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Manager Trainee to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Manager Trainee, you will undergo comprehensive training to efficiently run a store and prepare for taking over your own. Your responsibilities will include supervising daily store operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing schedules, and developing operational strategies while fostering team growth.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily store activities to deliver top-notch customer service.
- Understand company strategies and values to promote teamwork and employee engagement.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain store signage and product quality standards.
- Assist in the recruitment and hiring process.
- Manage schedules and staffing levels effectively.
- Provide performance feedback and training opportunities for staff.
- Conduct store meetings and ensure payroll and budget goals are met.
- Maintain a safe and organized store environment.
- Manage inventory levels and product merchandising.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities.
- Knowledge of retail operations and management principles.
- Experience operating cash registers and retail equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 3+ years of retail experience, with prior management experience preferred.
