Infection Control Nurse -- LPN/LVN

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Infection Control Nurse - LPN/LVN to join our clinical team at Genesis Healthcare. In this role, you will work under the guidance of a Registered Nurse to oversee the Infection Prevention and Control Program for one or multiple centers, focusing on various key areas such as Infection Prevention Activities, Outbreak Management, and Employee Health Surveillance.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage the center's Infection Prevention and Control Program.
• Act as a resource, educator, and facilitator for all staff in matters related to infection control.
• Conduct surveillance and analysis of infection-related data to ensure a safe environment for residents and staff.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop strategies for infection prevention.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a current LPN/LVN license.
• Specialized training in infection prevention and control.
• Minimum of three years of full-time nursing experience.
• Previous experience in long-term care nursing is preferred.
• Flexible availability to accommodate evening and night shifts.
