Job Description

The University of Vermont Health Network is seeking a Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) for our Long-Term Care unit. In this role, you will work collaboratively with the Staff Nurse to provide basic personal care support and specific aspects of patient care. Excellent communication, respect, and support for our residents are essential aspects of this position.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • State of Vermont LNA license.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Previous LNA experience is preferred.

Unit Information

The Otter Creek Long-Term Care unit caters to residents who are medically unable to live independently but are cognitively intact. As an LNA, you will have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with residents, understand their conditions, and ensure they receive the best care in a home-like environment.

Employment Bonus

An employment bonus of up to $3,000 is available for this position, paid in three installments over two years. Commitment to continuous full-time or part-time employment is required to be eligible for this bonus.
