Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) to join our team at the McClure Miller Respite House, part of UVM Health Network Hospice & Palliative Care. As an LNA, you will provide hands-on care and emotional support to terminally ill patients and their families, making a real impact during a challenging time.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to patients at the McClure Miller Respite House or in their homes, focusing on their physical and emotional well-being.
- Establish trusting relationships with patients based on empathy, understanding, and respect for their individual needs.
- Educate and support families, offering guidance and comfort throughout the care process.
- Collaborate with a dedicated team to deliver high-quality and compassionate care.
Qualifications
- Active Vermont Nursing Assistant license.
- Demonstrated compassion and commitment to providing compassionate care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team.
- Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
