Mechanic I

Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanic I to join Cargill's protein and salt business in Albert Lea, MN. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in conducting maintenance on production machinery, ensuring food safety and quality, and maintaining cleanliness and housekeeping standards.

Principal Accountabilities

• Performing maintenance on production machinery using hand tools.
• Ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards.
• Maintaining cleanliness and housekeeping in the work environment.

Requirements

• Eligibility to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Minimum age of 18 years old.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Prior experience in production maintenance and welding.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience at Cargill.
• Recent work history within the past 12 months.
