Responsibilities
- Enforce sectional and departmental policies to promote effective operations.
- Monitor supply purchases, adjust personnel scheduling based on patient census.
- Be a resource for technical personnel, schedule, train, and evaluate new employees.
- Lead problem-solving efforts, develop and revise policies for accurate results.
- Evaluate personnel performance, establish relationships, and resolve departmental issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- MT/MLT certification from ASCP required.
- 5-7 years of MT/MLS experience in a hospital lab setting.
