Responsibilities
- Enforce departmental policies and procedures for effective operations.
- Monitor supply purchases and personnel scheduling.
- Act as a resource for technical personnel, providing training and support.
- Lead problem-solving efforts and ensure compliance with accrediting agencies.
- Evaluate and develop the technical competency of staff.
- Maintain employee relationships and support their professional development.
- Take ownership of identifying and resolving departmental issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- MT/MLT certification from ASCP required.
- 5-7 years of experience in a hospital lab setting.
